Lake Mills COVID-19 Business Relief Fund
The City of Lake Mills and Hanson Foundation have come together to established a COVID-19 Business Relief Fund to offer small business grants to help ease economic struggles of our local entrepreneurs and business organizations.
The maximum award amount is $2,500 and will be awarded as grant money. Due to limited funds and the high number needing assistance, we ask that you make your request based on actual expenses and needs through May so we can best spread the limited funds to help the most local businesses possible.
To qualify for this fund, businesses must:
Have 25 or fewer employees
Have been affected by COVID-19 mandated closures or restrictions
Be located within the City of Lake Mills
Have submitted an application by June 19 at 5:00 pm
All information will be confidential and shared only with the individuals who are part of the review process. Please answer the questions and provide complete information to the best of your ability in order for the review committee to make the best and most informed decisions. Incomplete information may negatively impact your score.
We are all in this together, and we hope these funds will fill gaps and supplement other state and federal programs that are available. Please be sure to explore all funding options - we recommend consulting the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA).
If you have questions or need assistance with information requested, you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also encourage you to utilize the North Iowa Small Business Helpline at (641) 422-4737 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM or email at email@example.com for more information about other funding opportunities and assistance available.
Congrats to these
